Our mission is to inspire our clients to be and embrace their best selves, and combine artistry with individuality.
Accountability, honesty, integrity and innovation are our four primary values at SLEY and Company.
At SLEY & Company, we aim to act with uncompromised honesty and accountability in everything we do. We aim to create an environment that is inclusive of everyone, respects diversity and welcomes authenticity. Our artists strive to grow and learn through curiosity and to provide innovative and exceptional service to everyone.
At SLEY & Company, our primary focus is our clients. Each client’s appointment is important to us. We want to give your service the time and attention it deserves. As a result, we respectfully request at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or make changes to your appointment time. Failing to give 24-hour notice will result in a $50 rebooking fee for chemical services and a $25 fee for haircuts and formal services.
Any no-shows will be charged 100% of their service amount and must be paid by e-transfer to sunni@sleyco.ca prior to rebooking.
We know you want the best possible outcome, and we do too. Our artists are professional hairstylists. If they advise that your hair cannot tolerate a service that you are requesting, we ask that you respect their professional opinion and allow them the opportunity to work with your hair's integrity before proceeding with potential risk and damage.
The safety of our staff and our clients is our top priority. As such, the salon reserves the right to refuse service to anyone if we feel that they pose a health or safety risk. This includes but is not limited to lice, skin infections, open wounds, contagious illness, or rude/obnoxious behavior.
By clicking the link below, you will be redirected to our online booking portal. You can select any of our stylists to better assist you. Please consider all appointments as booked and confirmed unless we contact you directly for any changes that must be made. For immediate help during working hours, please contact the salon directly.
We look forward to serving you for your hair!
At SLEY & Co., your privacy is our priority.
While several people in the community are choosing to disclose information about their medical information, vaccination status and more, it is important to know that requesting this information violates the Ontario Personal Health Information Privacy Act, 2004, the Canadian Human Rights Act, and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. At no time is it required, encouraged or acceptable to disclose or request disclosure of this information while here for your service. Just as I cannot legally ask you for specific medication you are taking, this same privacy law applies to all of your and my medical information. Should you require a stylist that is comfortable violating these laws, I am happy to refer you to them.
At SLEY & Co., we pride ourselves on being inclusive, non-discriminatory and non-judgmental. Our salon is a safe space for all walks of life, which means we demand the same respect from our clients. As such, conversations about vaccinations, political issues and religious issues are discouraged. I appreciate your understanding and co-operation in creating a diverse, welcoming and respectful environment for everyone who attends the salon. Our dedication to remain neutral, welcoming and non-discriminatory within the community will remain our priority. As such, any persons displaying any violation of our dedication to this mutual respect will be prohibited from entering the salon.
Thank you,
Sunni Hurley
